Our transformative learning style creates systemic change by integrating mental wellbeing with immersion in te taiao [the natural world] and community experiences.
We offer rangatahi [youth] programs, short courses for schools, international courses, community workshops, adult retreats, and family-friendly events.

Our unique learning approach integrates layers of personal wellbeing (Mauri Ora), group wellbeing (Whanau Ora) and Place wellbeing (Waiora) - combining education with wellbeing to bring life to learning.

Short Courses
We facilitate a range of 2-day NCEA courses in areas such as native restoration and organic food growing.
Tree Planting is an upcoming example below

We facilitate native plant workshops over two days for high-school students wanting to earn NCEA credits in the outdoors.
Thie Term 1 2025 workshop involves learning how to identify and propogate native plants in our nursery, followed by planting trees at Pīwaiwaka Farm (expression of interest form below).
These workshops are run in partnership with Papa Taiao who make it possible for courses like these to provide students with NCEA credits.

Rangatahi [youth] Programs
We facilitate extended outdoor courses
for young people
Our programs are rangatahi led and action-packed. We offer the opportunity for growth through deep engagement with whakapapa, te Taiao, Te Awa Tupua, Te Kahui Maunga, and Te Ao Māori.
We integrate diverse offerings, including camping, growing forests and kai, cooking, hunting, building, developing wellbeing practices, access to therapy, and expeditions.
We can also offer NCEA credits, job skills, and mentoring in partnership with organisations, including Te Oranganui, Te Ao Hou Marae, and Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi.


Retreats
We host lush wellbeing retreats for adults
Wellbeing Retreats
We host wellbeing retreats designed to help people relax, release, and reconnect.
They are facilitated by a range of professionals, such as rongoā practitioners, clinical psychologists, dance-movement therapists, and more.
Expect spaciousness, organic farm-sourced kai, leisurely walks, meditation, movement practices, identity development, rongoā, maramataka, group reflection, and other wellness activities.
Accommodation is glamping style in shared bell tents with hot showers and composting toilets.
